We enjoyed the last dinner at the Spur. Laura and Joseph loved the playroom.

When it rained we travelled to Durban to visit Ushaka waterworld. It was wonderful on a wet day but would be even better on a sunny day.

A warm sunny day dawned on Sunday so we drove to Millers point with bathing costumes, bicycles and a picnic. The camp site was Eighty rand a night. There were beautiful rolling lawns down the hill to the beach. We settled under the trees and swam and played on the beach nearby.
Philippa, Jon, Nicky, Rob.

Ashley and Amy were pleased to meet again.
3 years old today. Can you remember the super day in the forest with the waterfall when you were only 2 ?

Enjoy a happy birthday. I look forward to hearing about your pirate party. Please send photos.
Happy birthday Amy. I wish I could see you on your birthday. I found a photo of you with amazing earings.- the biggest you will ever wear.

At your party on Saturday you will be a pirate. Please send me photos.
During the week Jon and I accepted that the MGB could not be ready in time for the Swartland rally with the Crankhandle Club . Jon prepared the 1971 Jaguar which was so comfortable and warm in the rain. Schuppa, the Border Collie, easily fitted on to the back seat.
We met the Crankers at Milnerton Paddling club on the beach. There were 32 cars. We departed at 2 minute intervals in the rain. However we soon drove out of the rain along the coast road to Melkbosch Strand. Following our rally pages we crossed the Cape Flats to drive between the vineyards with the mountains towering over us. It is wonderful scenery on a sunny winters day. We found our route to Tulbagh which is such a pretty little town with lots of Cape Dutch architecture in Church Street and on the wine farms.
We met at Montpellier for the winners dinner and again for breakfast. This was a lovely event.
Jennifer and I arrived at about 2.30 pm at the Johannesburg Country Club for the wedding. There were about 10 people in the room and I took out my camera. I looked across the room to take photos and saw the back of a head that looked exactly like Keiths. Imagine my shock when I he turned and it was Keith. It was as though someone hit me in the stomach. It was more shock than I need in my life. Once I recovered it was amazing to see him.
Elizabeth and her team arranged wonderful flowers all over the room.
Quaker meeting was lovely when they made their promises to each other.
Amy and Zoe were the Flower girls.
